Clutter challenge ~ motivation

Nothing seems to motivate me to clean and organize more than having people over to our house.  This afternoon my son had a friend coming over after school and suddenly I felt an urgency to clean that I don't normally feel on a typical Thursday afternoon.  I was dusting, doing laundry and picking up stray items around the house at lightning speed!  Maybe I need to invite people over more often to keep me on task!
